Meet The Doctor

Wayne K. Goodner, DDS

Board Certified
Diplomate, American Board of Periodontology

Dr. Goodner graduated from the Washington University School of Dentistry in 1970. Upon graduation Dr. Goodner entered the United States Air Force and served as a Captain in the dental corp. for two years. After completion of his military commitment, Dr. Goodner entered private practice in Tucson, Arizona, where he practiced as a general dentist for eight years. In 1980 Dr. Goodner moved to Los Angeles, California for two years and entered a graduate specialty program in periodontics at the University of Southern California. Subsequent to completion of the specialty program Dr. Goodner returned to Northwest Tucson, Arizona, and he has been a periodontist since.

Dr. Goodner has been involved in many civic and professional organizations including past-president of the flying Samaritans and past-president of the Southern Arizona Dental Society. He began incorporating a medical microscope into the practice of periodontics since 1998, and now uses the microscope exclusively for all examinations and surgical procedures. Dr. Goodner lives in Tucson with his wife Karen and their two children Carly and Erin.
